Service
To Others
The mission of Community United Methodist Church
is to honor God by making faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
What is a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ? It is someone
who follows Jesus example. One of the ways we can follow Jesus
example is by serving others. Sometimes we can serve others
through random acts of kindness. Occasionally we are another
person's Good Samaritan. There are also times when we become
aware of a need and we are in a position to help. In an effort
to more effectively serve persons in need, Community United
Methodist Church is starting a new ministry called, "Service
to Others."
Service
to Others is
designed to connect us with others when we either need help
or are in a position to help others. Perhaps it is help with:
- transportation to an appointment
- a simple home repair or yard work
- running errands
- light housekeeping
Please review the "Service
To Others" brochure,
fiill it out and return it to the office. When we become
aware of someone who needs help we will contact you with
the need. Or if you or someone else in our community needs
help, contact the church office with the need and we will
try to find appropriate help. Thanks for your participation. |
