The
CUMC sound team would like to extend an invitation to anyone interested
in learning and operating our sound system. This behind-the-scenes
ministry does not require any special skills or prior experience.

CUMC Sound Team
Mission
Statement: The sound team was created to support all other ministries
with their sound production needs in order to enhance the experience
of
all who attend Sunday services, special services, weddings, funerals
and special events.CUMC Sound Team Goals
- Invite all interested people to become part of the team
and provide instruction and training on the proper use of the equipment
- Gather feedback from all supported ministries to understand
areas for improvement
- Maintain and/or upgrade sound system equipment as required
- Organize a sound team calendar to provide team members
and church staff with a way to communicate availability and scheduled
commitment
General Tasks and Responsibilities
- Operate the mixing board during all services
- Record all 9:00 a.m. and special services for offsite
use
- Assist with musical accompaniment via CD or tape for
Chancel Choir,Children's Choir and Praise Team during services and practice
sessions
- Setup and check all required CUMC microphones and Personal
Hearing Aid devices before all services for proper operation and stow
all equipment after services.
