From our point of view, summer seemed to end very abruptly this year, as one
week we were wearing shorts and t-shirts, and the next week we were pulling out
our scarves again. It seems we forgot that summer is very short in Minnesota.
We spent our time during this too short season doing the things we miss when
we're in Jordan: swimming, walking around lakes, grilling, playing softball and
just being outside. We spent August visiting Annamarie's parents in the Seattle
area--where they had just moved--and it was great to see Blaze and Everbloom
reconnect and bond with them. And, it was great all summer long to be able to
go out to Matt's parents house in Buffalo, where Blaze had a lot of yard to run
around in, dig in the dirt and ride his tricycle. There will be a lot to miss
when we leave again, but we're grateful for the fun we've been able to have
during this time.

Thanks so much again for your interest in our
ministry in Jordan. We are praying that we will be fully supported and back in
Jordan by the middle of November--will you pray with us that we can be back in
Jordan in 7 weeks? We can't wait to be there, and we look forward to seeing what
is to come over these next few years.
